CRISTO REDENTOR

"O CRISTO REDENTOR foi eleito pelos moradores da cidade como "A Maravilha do Rio". Possui 38 metros de altura. O Cristo é a imagem da fé do povo carioca. o monumento foi inaugurado em 1931. Em 2000 recebeu nova iluminação e em 2003 seus acessos foram mecanizados, com elevadores panorâmicos e escadas rolantes.
CRIST THE REDEEMER as tall as 124.67 feet, Crish the Redeemer has been elected as "Rio's Wonder" by the city residents, The Crist is the native people's faith image. The startue was lauched in 1931, in the year 2000, it was given a new ligthing and in the year 2003, its access paths became mechanized, making available panoramic elevators and escalators to general public."
